Dr. Andrew Coy, CEO at Magritek, gave a webinar on how to follow chemical reactions in real-time using benchtop NMR spectrometers.

coyDr Andrew Coy is CEO and co-founder of Magritek, the world's leading provider of benchtop, portable and compact NMR and MRI solutions.  Magritek was founded over ten years ago, and today has offices in Aachen, Germany, San Diego, USA, and Wellington, New Zealand along with a global network of distributors and agents.  Magritek's IP grew from decades of world-class research by Ampere prize winner Professor Bernhard Bluemich’s group at RWTH Aachen University, and Gunther Laukien prize winner Paul Callaghan’s team at Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington.

Abstract

The Spinsolve Benchtop NMR Spectrometer is robust enough to be deployed outside the controlled environment of an NMR laboratory, and has the performance to provide quick, reliable and useful chemical information.  While traditional superconducting NMR means bringing the sample to the spectrometer, the benefit of a benchtop NMR Spectrometer is that it can be deployed next to the reaction, to monitor its progress in real time. In this webinar we will introduce the Spinsolve Benchtop NMR Spectrometer and discuss some of the issues to consider in NMR reaction monitoring. We will present results from a number of different applications and highlight some of the future developments and trends that are likely to impact this field.

This webinar will take place on Wednesday,  June 17, 9:00 AM CEST. To register please follow this linkAndrew Coy
